Representative Tim Ginter is currently serving his second term as state representative for the 5th Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Columbiana County.
Born and raised in Ohio, Rep. Ginter has been an ordained minister for 36 years, during which time he has served at five different churches as well as traveled nationally and internationally for seven years as a conference speaker. He received his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Nazarene Bible College.
He also has work experience as a construction worker, factory laborer, and machinist, and went on to form his own consulting business, specializing in workforce development. Tim is a member of the National Rifle Association, Columbiana County Farm Bureau, Buckeye Firearms Association, Salem Chamber of Commerce, and an associate member of the Columbiana County Township Association. Additionally, Tim has served on numerous boards and commissions including the East Liverpool City Planning Committee.
Representative Ginter lives in Salem with his wife of 37 years, Pam. They have a daughter, Angie, and three grandchildren: Skyler, Tagg, and Zoe.
